Acting as Structural and Civil Engineers, Pell Frischmann worked alongside partners Skanska and Stanton Williams on this life-changing scheme, as well as Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

The Zayed Centre, named in honour of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of UAE, is a state-of-the-art, eight-storey scheme in Central London, including extraordinary facilities such as a 70-metre research laboratory for the mass manufacturing of new medicines and treatments for rare diseases in children.

Jonathan Childs, Pell Frischmann’s Buildings Sector Director, said of the achievements: “Pell Frischmann is delighted the project has been recognised by EHDA for these awards. We are privileged to have worked together with our partners and Skanska and Stanton Williams to create this world-class research centre and hospital. The Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Diseases is a scheme that will change peoples’ lives unequivocally and will continue to work alongside Great Ormond Street Hospital whenever needed”.
