Asset Management
We have been designing and supporting maintenance of the built environment for over a hundred years. Initially known for innovative buildings, we have grown and diversified to cover assets across the built environment, including highways, bridges, civil engineering structures, ports, airports and railways.
Through the development of asset management as a discipline our experts have successfully delivered specialised asset management support, particularly for PFI concessionaires and major infrastructure asset owners and operators. Areas of input range from that of service provider and the delivery of core Facilities Management (FM) services, to supporting investors with specialist technical and financial modelling.
What We Do
Our team regularly undertakes data collection and development for bridges, such as inspections and assessments for Network Rail, National Highways, airport operators and local authorities. We have recently been supporting the Ministry of Defence with the management of airfield pavements, ground lighting systems, obstacle limitation surfaces and safeguarding at over 60 airfields across the UK and overseas.
Our extensive engineering capabilities enable us to assess infrastructure condition, undertake maintenance costings and devise strategies and remedial actions to monitor and extend asset life, including the management of whole life performance. Our monitoring and instrumentation engineers specialise in the installation of sensors to automatically monitor and report the condition of assets in real time. Our understanding of our clients strategic objectives is key to delivering their asset management needs from inspection and data capture to strategy, analysis and planning systems.
