Structural Engineering

Pell Frischmann’s Structural Engineering Team has worked with signature architects and developers on innovative and award-winning schemes throughout the UK since 1926. Our name has been built upon our ability to innovate and challenge, achieving our clients’ objectives by combining commercial acumen with cutting-edge design and technical expertise.

Our team works closely with all stakeholders and partners on a project, from ambitious clients, like-minded experts in differing fields, contractors and occupants. Our significant technical knowledge base, experience and expertise has been applied to landmark commercial developments, such as the Zig Zag Building; future-proofed higher education schemes, such as the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford; and cutting-edge science, research and healthcare schemes, such as the Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children for Great Ormond Street Hospital. As the future requirements for building performance continues to evolve, we not only create exciting new buildings but also repurpose existing assets, such as Centre Point, helping give them a new lease of life.

Our Structural Engineering Team collaborates closely with our Digital Engineering & BIM experts led by Tony Gosling, implementing the latest technology to deliver efficient structural engineering solutions reducing cost and associated carbon footprints; our solutions are tested by our in-house developed Embodied Carbon for Structures tool (EC4S). By integrating these digital approaches, our teams can improve procurement accuracy and reduce risk, facilitate intelligent manufacturing, and improve site efficiencies for our clients.
