Pell Frischmann’s Environmental Consultancy team, established in 1990, supports all of our Sectors; from providing Environmental Impact Assessments for large-scale Land Development and Buildings developments for private clients to the design of flood alleviation schemes for public sectors clients and ecological surveys for new Rail and Highways & Transportation routes.

Our capabilities, combined with our deep understanding of local issues, communities, regulation and technical best practice, combines our clients’ requirements into a single coordinated offering. It has led to us developing long-term relationships, supporting the voluntary remediation and environmental and sustainable management of a former chemical waste landfill, as well as local authorities such as the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, where we have designed the award-winning Cottingham and Orchard Park Flood Alleviation Scheme to protect 4,000 homes from future flooding events.

Our Environment Team, led by David Thomson cover all of the wide-ranging services required to achieve best practice; including Air Quality, Noise & Vibration, Climate Change Resilience, Land Contamination Risk Management, Ecology, Environmental Impact Assessment, Flood Risk and Materials and Waste Management.

The built environment and our nation’s infrastructure needs to address more than just the immediate requirements of today’s population; the impact of climate change and securing our long-term sustainable environmental future needs to be built into every element of design, construction and Asset Management processes. Roads, railways, homes and cities all need to adapt and meet the demands of our times, not just in terms of capacity, but environmental impact and climate change resilience as well as accessibility and connectivity.

We’d love to hear from you!
