Space House Wins Bronze at WAN Awards 2024

We are thrilled to share that Space House has won Bronze at this year’s WAN Awards 2024 in the Commercial Buildings – 25,000-50,000sqm category.

The WAN Awards (World Architecture News Awards) are prestigious international awards that recognise excellence in architecture and design. These awards celebrate innovative and outstanding projects across various categories, including commercial, residential, cultural, and sustainable architecture.

Pell Frischmann has worked closely with Seaforth Land, architects Squire & Partners and MEP consultant Atelier Ten, and have provided Structural and Civil Engineering services for the retrofit of Space House.

On achieving the Bronze award, Sector Director for Buildings, Jonathan Childs, said:

Pell Frischmann is delighted that Space House has received global recognition at the World Architectural News awards; Seaforth’s and Squire and Partners vision for the building has delivered a stunning modern workspace. To reduce our carbon production, we need to re-use more, Space House is an exemplary example of adaptive reuse and circularity, saving 10,000 tonnes of embodied carbon.
