Social Value Report 2025
Our Social Value Report showcases how we are creating meaningful and lasting impact beyond engineering. Guided by our principles of Empower, Educate and Evaluate, we are investing in future talent, supporting communities, championing diversity and inclusion, and delivering initiatives that improve safety, wellbeing and opportunity.
Through partnerships with schools, charities and industry organisations, our people contributed more than 1,100 volunteering hours, supported over 150 early-career individuals and reached more than 2,000 young people through the Rail Safe Friendly programme. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, our approach ensures that social value is embedded, authentic and measurable, helping to build more inclusive, resilient and sustainable communities across the UK.

This year’s report reflects how our people are creating impact that goes beyond engineering. Guided by our principles of Empower, Educate and Evaluate, we have supported future talent, strengthened communities and delivered meaningful initiatives that improve safety, wellbeing and opportunity across the UK.

- We supported 31 charities across the UK with volunteer days, donations, sponsorship of programmes, etc.
- Engaged with 62 schools across the UK supporting careers fairs, delivery STEM workshops, Safety talks and workshops.
