As Pell Frischmann’s projects in the Aviation industry grew in its other sectors, we combined experts in different disciplines to produce a dedicated Aviation Team. Beginning in early 2018, this combined their airside pavement engineering, aviation systems and compliance expertise with the existing land-side skills within the Highways and Transportation Sector. We have worked on world-renowned projects ranging from Heathrow Terminal 5, Gatwick Pier D, Isle of Man RESA extension, Kigali Rwanda and a host of defence aviation projects.
The team has developed a strong market presence in a short period of time, undertaking extensive design work for the expansion of London City Airport, access roads and transport interchanges at London Luton Airport, and compliance and inspection work at Bristol Airport, Norwich Airport, Isle of Man Airport and MoD airfields in the UK and overseas.
As an independent consultant, Pell Frischmann gives clear, innovative advice to airport operators, Major Contractors and Investors, without the internal commercial pressures experienced at large engineering consultancies. The team focuses on giving timely, cost-effective advice to clients, ensuring innovative solutions are delivered while minimising disruption to maximise revenue streams. They possess a comprehensive knowledge of CAA and ICAO regulations, and have contributed to technical reviews of standards prior to implementation.
