Ross Barnett Wins Midlands Metro ‘Employee of the Quarter’

Pell Frischmann would like to congratulate its very own Ross Barnett who has won ‘Employee of the Quarter’ for the Midlands Metro scheme in Birmingham.

Part of the Highways & Transportation Team, based in Central Birmingham, Ross is the Projects Coordinator of this ambitious expansion of the city’s light-rail network, providing new opportunities to local residents and businesses.

Although the scheme is due to finish in 2026, the team (working alongside West Midlands Combined Authority, Egis, Tony Gee and Colas Rail as part of the Midland Metro Alliance) is currently working on route expansions and infrastructure redevelopment for 2022, ahead of the Commonwealth Games, which is being hosted by Birmingham.

Paul Brown, who nominated Ross, said:

Ross has made himself readily available to provide high profile drawings and information all relevant parties and also delivered some first class presentations to senior members of the Owners team, Operators and the Client. He has no problem in working above and beyond his remit for the good of the MMA.

Ross Barnett said:

I’m grateful to be acknowledged as part of this Employee Recognition scheme at the Midland Metro Alliance. We have a fantastic team who push each other constantly to excel; this award is as much a recognition of their hard work as it is my own.
