Pell Frischmann Successfully Acquires Bernwood Ecology
Pell Frischmann has successfully acquired Bernwood Ecology. Established in 1998, Bernwood Ecology provides a range of ecological services to both public and private sector clients; this acquisition marks the next step in the expansion of our business and supports the continued growth of our Ecology and Environment teams.
Bernwood Ecology are committed to being at the forefront of changing ecological practices, including biodiversity impact/net gain assessments, research into innovative survey techniques, biodiversity offsetting, and landscape-level habitat management and natural capital projects. They have been involved in bringing forward the large-scale strategic development of Milton Keynes, in areas such as Oakgrove, Middleton, Hazeley, Grange Farm and Kingsmead.
The acquisition increases the capacity of our Ecology offering and will enable us to better support both Bernwood Ecology and Pell Frischmann clients. It also affords exciting opportunities for new collaboration and knowledge sharing within the Ecology and Environment disciplines and the continued development and delivery of market-leading Ecology services.
Both Pell Frischmann and Bernwood Ecology share a commitment to providing the best service possible to clients as well as continuing to support RSBG, the patient capital investment arm of RAG-Stiftung. RAG-Stiftung is a foundation with the long-term public purpose to deal with the environmental and social commitments resulting from the closing of Germany’s hard-coal mining industry.
On the acquisition, Chris Damant, Director at Bernwood Ecology said:
