Pell Frischmann Selected by Kier to Support Southern Water Services Framework

Pell Frischmann is excited to announce we have been selected by Kier to support them with their recently awarded place on the Southern Water Services (SWS) £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership Framework. The selection is for an initial term of seven years, with the option to extend the agreement for a further five years.

The framework is part of Southern Water Services’ business plan 2025-30, which aims to enhance the health and wellbeing of its communities, protect and improve the environment and help to sustain the local economy.

Potential projects which are due to be issued under this framework include: increases in capacity at water supply and wastewater treatment sites, alongside works to improve water safety, quality, recycling and resilience.

Southern Water Services is responsible for providing, maintaining and operating water supply and distribution services covering the counties of Kent, Sussex and Hampshire, including the Isle of Wight. Across the region, Southern Water Services supplies drinking water to approximately 2.5m households and treats and recycles wastewater from more than 4.7m households.

Pell Frischmann alongside AECOM, is proud to be supporting Kier with the delivery of the framework, through the provision of design services. Our specialist knowledge of SWS sites and processes will significantly assist in the delivery of a very large and challenging programme of works.
