Aviation - Sector Director
With extensive experience of surveying and modelling assets for construction projects across the UK and overseas, coupled with a clear understanding of maintenance issues, and life-cycle costing, Gary is a keen advocate of increased digitisation in design, construction and maintenance. He is focused on reality capture, measurement and modelling techniques, combined with wireless IoT technology to deliver projects efficiently with reduced whole life maintenance costs. He leads our Asset Management and Surveying Teams in the Aviation Sector.
He is well-versed in the Health & Safety and access requirements of working in safety critical environments. His extensive site experience and knowledge has seen him contribute to BSI PAS256 Buried Assets standard as well as CAA CAP232 and CAP1732 standards.
Being a Chartered Surveyor with a background of working on restricted sites, Gary has worked in the construction, aviation, marine, oil & gas, and asset management sectors. Having started in North Sea Oil after graduating, he moved into construction focusing on Aviation, Rail and Defence work.
