Pell Frischmann Appointed to Help Cadw Preserve Welsh Heritage Assets
Pell Frischmann is delighted to announce that we have been selected to work with Cadw, the historic environment service of the Welsh Government. Similar to English Heritage, Cadw is responsible for the oversight and preservation of numerous significant historic monuments across Wales.
Our appointment to Cadw’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Framework will see us conducting heritage Laser Scan Surveys of Cadw’s valuable assets. This responsibility includes a wide array of historical buildings and structures that are integral to the cultural heritage of the region.
Delivered by our Survey team, Pell Frischmann will be undertaking detailed heritage Laser Scan Surveys of Cadw’s extensive portfolio of historic assets. This technology provides high-precision 3D models, which are essential for the detailed analysis and preservation planning of significant historical buildings and structures across Wales.
Alan Muir, Pell Frischmann’s Technical Director for Surveying, said:
These heritage Laser Scan Surveys are not only pivotal for accurate record-keeping but also for facilitating the restoration and maintenance efforts that ensure the longevity of these irreplaceable monuments.
We look forward to working closely with Cadw to protect and preserve the country’s heritage.
