Pell Frischmann and 4way have been named as suppliers on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Transport Technology and Associated Services (TTAS) Framework

Pell Frischmann and sister company 4way Consulting are delighted to announce they have won places on two lots of the new Transport Technology and Associated Services Framework (TTAS); Lot 1 Transport and Professional Services and Lot 7 Catalogue (used for direct awards). Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. This framework replaces the Traffic Management Technology Framework 2 and will run for two years with a possible extension for a further two years.

TTAS will enable public-sector organisations, such as National Highways and Local Authorities, to access our broad range of transport technology and digital services including research, consultancy, design, commissioning and project management.

Pell Frischmann and 4way collaborate successfully on multimodal transportation projects nationwide. They integrate civil engineering, transport planning and operational technology expertise, supporting clients to develop innovative solutions and services for connected roads, smart cities and intelligent mobility. CCS TTAS provides existing and new clients with an efficient means of access to Pell Frischmann and 4way’s low-cost, high-value services and both companies are excited about the future opportunities this Framework is likely to create.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21 CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

Chris Ellison, Technical Director at 4way Consulting, said:

The scale of change for public sector organisations in transportation has never been greater. CCS TTAS offers an easily accessible platform through which Pell Frischmann and 4way will be able to collaborate with customers, providing integrated transportation and technology services to support the transformation of the Sector.

Stuart Cox, Business Unit Director at Pell Frischmann, said:

Pell Frischmann’s objective to be at the forefront of transport technology transformation – such as digitisation, automation and decarbonisation – continues to bear fruit and be recognised by the UK’s leading transport asset owners and operators. Our position on the framework supports our ambition to continue leading the market in these areas and innovating in the fields of Urban Traffic Control, Road Safety, and Asset Management.
