Pell Frischmann Appointed to National Highway’s Operational Technology Commercial Framework

Pell Frischmann Consulting Engineers Limited is delighted to announce its appointment to Lot 5 of National Highways’ Operational Technology Commercial Framework (OTCF), following a competitive tendering process.

The OTCF will run for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend by a further 2. It is National Highways’ main procurement vehicle for operational technology products and services. It will also support the Digital Services division with achieving their strategic objectives set out in documentation, including digital roads and the Operational Technology strategy.

OTCF provides access to a broader and deeper pool of supplier expertise than previous Frameworks, enabling Digital Services to collaborate more effectively and leverage innovation. This will deliver material improvements in asset performance, operational technology projects and services in the coming years.

Pell Frischmann recognises the changing landscape of operational technology and the growing influence of digital and data-led services. By bringing together specialist operational technology, IT and future mobility expertise we will add value to the supply chain, offering simplified access to professional services which are fully aligned with the emerging needs of Digital Services.

Damian Kilburn, Highways and Transportation Director said:

“We are delighted to win a place on the OTCF.  We are looking forward to the opportunity of working with National Highways and other suppliers to deliver exceptional operational technology services.”

Chris Ellison, Framework Manager said:

“OTCF is a key Framework that allows us the opportunity to showcase the full breadth of operational technology, future mobility and IT talent within our organisation.  We’re excited about the opportunity to support Digital Services in the transformation of operational technology to a high performing asset which further enhances road safety and customer satisfaction.”

We look forward to the opportunity of working with National Highways and partners to support England’s motorways and major A roads in-line with their strategy.
