On Tuesday 8 September, six members of Pell Frischmann’s Manchester Office volunteered themselves to redecorate the local Age UK’s store in Chorlton, helping them re-open the shop after the difficulties of Covid-19.
The team re-decorated the main shop, fitting room and the work and storage room, including windows and doors. They have also painted the walls in preparation for a local artist to come in to paint a mural which ties into the community.
Terri Torevell, Business Development Manager at Age UK Manchester, said: “The team did a marvellous job and the shop is completely transformed now. This has been hugely helpful and pivotal in us being able to reopen the shop in the coming weeks. We cannot thank the team enough. They’re welcome anytime!”.
We look forward to working with Age UK on future projects, and will be ready with paintbrushes and tools in hand!
Throughout, all social distancing rules and guidance were followed, including masks worn at all times. This activity was undertaken before the government regulations of limiting social gatherings to no more than six people.
