Improving Transport Connectivity Along the Fitzwilliam Corridor in Rotherham
Pell Frischmann is proud to have been working with Galliford Try for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council on the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement initiative, a project that will see us working on the A630 Fitzwilliam Road and St Ann’s Roundabout, a major highway link and key junction in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The aim of the scheme is to provide enhanced infrastructure along the Fitzwilliam Corridor, including segregated cycleways and footways, formal crossing amenities for active travellers (pedestrians, wheelers and cyclists), to facilitate walking and cycling, as well as to improve bus journey times and reliability. We will also undertake the complete redevelopment of the existing St Ann’s Roundabout, originally built in the 1960s.
Formal public consultation on the proposed scheme options will continue until the end of November. Click here for more information
