Engineers at Pell Frischmann are encouraged to take responsibility for their own projects, attend meetings and liaise with clients and architects. We are looking for top class candidate who will fit in well with our existing teams and help us to grow the business.

You must have some experience working on buildings projects, preferably in the UK. Technical excellence is a must, as are strong communication skills. You should be keen to work on a variety of projects and your CV should demonstrate that you have the potential of working on a range of buildings structures and a range of size of projects. Experience or knowledge of building repurposing, refurbishment and sustainable projects will be considered a plus.

Professional duties:

  • Collaborating and communicating with the Client and project delivery team to create and develop structural designs and calculations
  • Providing high quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical design for foundation and superstructure components, for new build as well as refurbishment and extension schemes
  • Preparing structural design sketches/drawings and reports
  • Provide the relevant input to enable CAD drawing and Revit model generation
  • Commitment to producing high quality work and to promoting the reputation of the company.

Qualifications • BEng and CEng or MEng or equivalent qualification
• Sustainability master’s degree
Experience • 2 years min overall, at least1 years in UK within the Building Structures field
Skills • Sound knowledge of major structural design suites and different materials
• Confident communication skills, verbal, sketching & written
