We are looking for technically excellent engineers with an enthusiasm and passion for engineering, building a sustainable future, and modern methods of construction. A confident communicator, a team leader with a strong interest in architecture, digitally competent, you should be able to demonstrate good all round buildings structures experience on a range of projects, excellent English, verbal and written communication skills.

As a Senior Engineer you will be involved in a number of diverse and challenging projects and will help to deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions across a broad range of clients in different sectors. You must be able to maintain and enforce systems and procedures and take responsibility for running projects and overseeing junior staff. Must have excellent understanding of structural design software, preferably Tekla and SCIA. Chartered or approaching Chartered status


Professional duties:

  • Supporting the firm’s client base growth through ongoing relationships and high quality, efficient design solutions
  • Ensuring that projects are undertaken to the specified budget and timeframes
  • Providing exceptional quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical design for foundation and superstructure components, for new build as well as refurbishment and extension schemes
  • Preparing structural design sketches/drawings, undertaking condition surveys and writing technical reports
  • Forging a strong relationship with every client promoting the reputation of the company.
  • Expected to exercise a degree of autonomy in decision making related to the accomplishment of the team’s objectives
  • Managing and transferring skills to junior members of staff

Qualifications • BEng and CEng or MEng near chartered (within 1 year), equivalent relevant experience will be considered too.
• MEng + CEng
Experience • 4 years min overall, at least 2 years in UK
Skills • Sound knowledge of major structural design suites and different materials
• Confident communication skills, verbal, sketching & written
• Experience in sustainability, embodied carbon, modern methods of construction
• Experience in specialized design such as high rise, parametric, PT, API, blast resistance
