Apprentice of the Year Shortlist
Pell Frischmann is delighted to announce that Charlotte Burrows and Sam Francis have been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year by the New Civil Engineer: Graduate & Apprentice Awards 2021.
The awards are designed to “recognise and reward the most inspiring civil engineering graduates, apprentices and degree apprentices”. This year, there is an emphasis on individuals who show excellence in Net-Zero Carbon, Digital Engineering and an overall impact on the industry.
Both part of our Structural Engineering Team, Charlotte and Sam had this to say:
I am so happy to be nominated for the Apprentice of the Year Award. These awards really focus on combating climate change and what we as can do to improve the issue and be a part of positive change within the construction industry.
I am honoured to be in the final shortlist for the upcoming awards ceremony. It will be a great opportunity to present on important issues that I have come across whilst working in the industry and how we can contribute towards minimising them.
Pell Frischmann’s Structures Discipline Lead, Andy Murray, said:
We’re thrilled that two of our apprentices have been shortlisted by the NCE. At Pell Frischmann, we’re committed to nurturing and developing talent; it is wonderful to see their hard work being recognised nationally.
Fittingly, the awards night will be hosted in-person on Friday 26 November at the Institution of Civil Engineers, London. Congratulations to our finalists and best of luck!
