I came to Pell Frischmann with a degree in Environmental Earth Sciences and a couple of years experience behind me including work at a smaller consultancy and some time backpacking. I was looking to move to a larger consultancy like Pells with more project and professional development opportunities. My work in Pells is very diverse and I enjoy the technical challenges. Since joining Pells I’ve been able to continue to develop as a Contaminated Land Specialist and in the past 3 years I’ve also taken on additional responsibilities as the Waste Classification and Waste in Construction Specialist for the Group. I’m currently working as a Senior Specialist at the Exeter Office. My work enables me to travel around Pell Frischmann and the UK, working on and project managing a broad spectrum of projects. I have also developed and provided a series of bespoke training courses to external Clients and internally for our Staff.

As part of my role I have developed Protocols to assist PF and our Clients to implement changes and demonstrate legal compliance for projects in response to recent legislative changes to the waste regime. Pell Frischmann also supported me as I developed HazPro - which is a programme for undertaking a Hazardous Property Assessment that enable us to classify soils and construction materials as part of our projects and for our Clients. I work closely with public and private sector Clients that are based across the UK and abroad. Most recently, I have been very pleased to receive the PureEnvironment Award from SWW through my environmental and waste classification and re-use work with a Developer Sewer Requisition project in Okehampton.
